Kistler Book Award HOME \| NOMINATION PROCESS \| RECIPIENTS 2003 2004 2005 2006 2007 2008 Nomination Process Nomination Guidelines and Process Anyone may nominate a science-based book for the Walter P. Kistler Book Award by writing and sending to the Foundation (by email, fax, or postal service) a brief summary of the book and an explanation of how it makes a significant contribution to the public’s understanding of factors that may impact the long-term future of humanity. Nominations must be written in the English language. Nominators must identify themselves by name, affiliation, and email/postal addresses, and provide the full book title and author's name along with the summary and explanation of its contribution. The deadline for nominations is September 30 for the award that will be presented the following year. Accordingly, the Foundation must have received by September 30, 2006, all nominations intended for the 2007 Walter P. Kistler Book Award.
