Selection and Presentation

Selection Procedure

The Foundation For the Future is constituting a panel of science documentary film producers and critics to assist in developing a short list of the best science documentary films of a given year. This panel will make award recommentations to the Trustees of the Foundation, who will make the final determination of winners of the Walter P. Kistler Science Documentary Film Award.

Award Presentation

Beginning in 2007, the award will be formally presented in public ceremonies that will include a screening of the film, comments by the Executive Producer, and Q&A.
