HOME | NOMINATION PROCESS | 2007

The Walter P. Kistler Science Teacher Award, presented for the first time in 2007, was created to recognize outstanding science teachers at the elementary or secondary level who develop and teach science-based programs of study. The hope of the Foundation is to encourage more science teachers to be innovative and courageous in developing scientific content for their students and encouraging students to take a long-term perspective.

The Walter P. Kistler Science Teacher Award is named for the originator of the award program and benefactor of the Foundation For the Future. It includes a cash award and a certificate.
