George E. Mueller

What are the three critical questions you would ask pertaining to “anthropogenic climate change: a worst-case scenario” – and why?

1. What if global warming is NOT due to and/or a result of CO2 in the atmosphere? Are we to spend trillions of dollars to “cure” a problem that may not exist?

2. What if additional CO2 is shown to be necessary to increase agricultural production enough to keep up with the food needs of our ever-expanding global population? CO2 may be the most cost-effective fertilizer and the least environmentally damaging fertilizer available to us.

3. What if the solar irradiance cycle drives the global temperatures to a new Ice Age, or conversely to a new Pliocene Optimum? Should we and/or could we modify our atmosphere around the Earth to offset, i.e., control, the global temperature?

What can we do to permanently solve the problem?
